Elizabeth Von Staden

Elizabeth M. Von Staden, 86, passed away peacefully in her sleep, Wednesday, June 15, 2016.
Service: 10 a.m. Monday at Lucas Funeral Home, Keller.

Elizabeth was born March 30, 1930, in Jersey City, N.J. She primarily grew up in Long Island, N.Y., and Jersey City, where she met Richard Von Staden, her husband of 57 years.
After raising their three daughters in Jersey City, Elizabeth and Richard followed the girls to Texas in 1989. Elizabeth devoted her life to her growing family. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were her greatest joys.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard, and her son-in-law, John Rogers.
Survivors: Daughters, Linda Rogers, Susan McDaniel and husband, Jack, Sandy McKinney and husband, Brian; grandchildren, John, Robert, Jeremiah, Mary, Katie, Amanda, Nikki and Kayla; and great-grandchildren, Ellie, Logan, Payton, Mason and Scott.
