Ellen Colette Eddleman - March 15,1991 - December 10, 2020
Ellen Colette Eddleman, 29, of Denton, TX passed away unexpectedly at her home on Thursday, December 10, 2020.
Ellen’s caring and compassionate spirit was evident to everyone who knew her. A graduate of Carroll High School, she later completed her Associate of Arts Degree at NCTC. Ellen found joy in sharing life experiences with those close to her, through Music, Film, Gaming, and laughter. She had artistic ability and drew beautiful Anime characters. She wrote short stories and poetry, and loved to dance. Ellen was exceptionally fun! She lived life colorfully and always took the adventurous option with her life choices. Not many people are as gifted in as many ways as Ellen was. She was a gifted singer, and actress, whose beautiful voice will be remembered lovingly by her family and friends. She really got into the experience of living - showing up at the movies in an Elf suit near Christmas was not unheard of.
Her love of adventure included snow skiing, snowboarding, scuba diving, swimming in the ocean, and tennis. She traveled to London and spent a week in Rome for her 16th birthday.
Ellen loved her pet Labradors, Lily and Loki, her cats Jasper, Angel and Bandit, and her boa Aya. She was a passionate advocate for all animals.
Ellen cared deeply about her family, and took pride in being a loving partner, devoted daughter and granddaughter, caring sister, and fun aunt. She always greeted everyone with a big smile and a warm hug. Ellen cherished her many friends throughout her life. “Though she be little, she be fierce.” She was extraordinary.
Ellen was preceded in death by her father, Brian David Eddleman.
She is survived by her fiancé, John Mathew Ortega, her mother Georgia Eddleman Little, step-father Dennis Marvin Little, paternal grandfather Robert W Eddleman of West Palm Beach, FL, her brother Dylan Michael Eddleman and his wife Lacey Shaw Eddleman, brother Devin Thomas Eddleman, half-brother Timothy Patrick Kuder, step-brothers Sean Thomas Little, Alec Edward Little, her niece Alyssa Shannon Eddleman and nephews Connor Brian and Collan Reilly Eddleman, and a large extended family of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A memorial service will be held at Lucas Funeral Home, 700 W Wall Street, Grapevine, TX from 10:00am to 12:00pm with interment at Greenwood Memorial Cemetery 3100 White Settlement Rd, Fort Worth, TX 76107 at 1:00pm.
