Emmett Wayne Franklin

Wayne grew up in Lake Worth, Texas, where he met and fell in love with his first wife, Lesa Franklin. They moved to River Oaks, Texas in 1985. After starting their family Wayne joined the River Oaks Volunteer Fire Department in 1986 where he served his community proudly until 2008.
After the passing of his first wife in 2016, he thought he would never find love again until 2018 when he met and fell in love with Keri Harbin Franklin.
The two of them went on to build their dream home and beautiful life together in Burleson. They got to enjoy making so many memories while traveling, camping and riding ATVs with the people he loved dearly.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Lesa Franklin; parents, Sim and Dorothy Franklin; and many brothers and sisters.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Keri Franklin; sons, Michael Franklin and wife, Dani and Corey Franklin and wife, Dawn; daughters, Ashley Phillips and husband, Jeffery and Magan Franklin; brother, Kenneth Franklin and wife, Diana; sister, Debra Franklin; brothers-in-law, Gary Harbin and wife, Norma, and Troy Harbin and wife, Kristy; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
