Eric Cox, age 45, passed away August 9, 2015.
Eric would like to let you know that his work here is done. He received a call, a sort of an offer you can’t refuse for an appointment from which he will not be returning. This assignment comes with a huge sign on bonus, a reunion with family and friends he has not seen in a long time. His new mission takes him to a wonderful place where he will be socializing, playing drums, hunting for big foot (and finally finding him), racing cars, BMX Bike racing, coaching soccer, making beef jerky and eating Captain Crunch Peanut Butter Cereal to his heart’s content. Food is delicious and you never gain an ounce. He left detailed instructions for his wife, children, family and friends to celebrate his mission here, which has now been completed. Low adherence to this instruction will not be tolerated.
Eric is survived by his wife, Michelle, children Katie and Cooper, his parents, Jerry and Jean Cox, his sisters Melissa Cox and Kristen Nickens, brother in laws, Ed Slack, Eric Nickens and Bob Dock, sister in law Dana Pudenz, Niece Kathryn Nickens and nephew Blake McEachern. He will forever be in our hearts and by our side until we meet again.
A Celebration of Eric's Life will be at 2pm, Fri August 14 at the Lucas Funeral Home in Keller.
While we appreciate any expressions of sympathy during this time period, a friend of the family has arranged a fund for the funeral services and for Eric's children. We appreciate any and all acts of kindness on our behalf, especially your thoughts and prayers.
