Erma Raines Dodson

HURST -- Erma Raines Dodson, 87, passed away Thursday, July 7, 2016. No service at this time. Erma was born in Miami, Oklahoma to James & Beulah Elrod . She moved to the Michigan after she got married where she began her career as an Executive Secretary for Ford Motor Services. Later she found a passion as a High School Swim Coach which she enjoyed coaching students for several years. After her retirement she moved to Dallas/Fort Worth area to be closer to her son Joe and became very active in teaching a Computer Education class to fellow Senior Citizens at Tarrant County Community College and was even the President of the Computer User Group. She was very active in her community and will be missed by all. Erma is survived by her son, Joseph Raines and wife, Pamela; sisters, Kathy Camp of Emory and Elaine McFerron of Miami, Oklahoma.; two grandkids; six great-grandkids; many other friends and family.
