Estelle Prather Jobe, 88 of Haltom City went to be with the Lord on May 16th in North Richland Hills.
Visitation: Sunday, 2-4 p.m. at Lucas Funeral Home, Hurst; Service: Monday, 1:00 p.m. at Oak Knoll Baptist Church with burial to follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
Mrs. Jobe was born July 4, 1928 in Dallas to Virgil and Pearl McCoy. She married Ed Prather and shared 20 years with him until his passing in 1971. She was a business owner of Ft. Worth Butane Gas Company. Her Christian faith was evident in her 50 years as Sunday School Teacher, Sunday School Department Director, Outreach Leader and many church committees at Birdville Baptist Church and Oak Knoll Baptist Church from 1957-2015.
Mrs. Jobe was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brother Doyle McCoy and sister-in-law Shirley McCoy.
Mrs. Jobe is survived by her daughter Sharon Prather Tow; son Warren (Candice) Prather; brother Ron (Cynthia) McCoy; grandchildren Tabitha (Daniel) Burns, Jennifer (David) Haring; Stephanie Green and Missy Green; great-grandchildren Mina Haring, Max Haring and Evelyn Green.
