Esther Elisa Corral

Esther Elisa Miramontes Corral, 83, of Grapevine, Texas passed away July 1st, 2019 at Baylor Scott and White Hospital in Grapevine, Texas.
Esther was born to Fidencio Miramontes and Herlinda Paredes Miramontes on February 19th, 1936, in San Marcos, Jalisco, Mexico. She married Selestino Corral, Jr. in October 1954, and built their home and family in Los Angeles, California. Together they raised their one child - a daughter, Adriana (Audrey) Corral.
She leaves as her legacy: one daughter (Audrey Corral Watkins), three grandchildren (Christian Mora, Brittany Watkins, and Bryce Watkins), one great-grandchild (Zenna Mora), one brother (Manual Miramontes), one sister-in-law (Enedina Miramontes), and beloved nephews and nieces to cherish her memory. Her family remembers her as a matriarch of the clan.
She was preceded in death by Selestino Corral, Jr. (husband), Herlinda Paredes Miramontes (mother), Raul Miramontes (brother), Ignacio Paredes (brother), Ramon Miramontes (brother), and Anita Miramontes Madrigal (sister).
Esther was a homemaker and avid gardener until her dying days and was passionate about taking care of her family and friends. She also doted on her little dog Oscar, a Bichon/Poodle mix, and on the recent family addition, Luzita - a Maltese/Poodle mix rescued in December. Both were loved and spoiled by Esther, being the animal lover that she was.
A viewing is scheduled for Wednesday, July 10th from 4-5 pm at Guerra Gutierrez 5800 E. Beverly Blvd. Los Angeles, CA 90022 (323) 722-1900 with prayer services following at 5 pm. The internment is scheduled for Thursday, July 11th 9:45 am at Resurrection Cemetery 966 Potrero Grande Dr. Rosemead, CA 91770 (323) 887-2024. A reception will follow. More information to follow.
