Eula Faye Driver, 92, passed away October 4, 2020 at Town Hall Estates in Keene. A memorial service will be held at Lucas Blessing Funeral Home, 518 SW Johnson Avenue, Burleson, Texas 76028 at 11:00 am on Wednesday, October 7th. A visitation and family greeting will be held in the chapel prior to the service at 10:00am.
She was born October 26, 1927 in Foster, Oklahoma to Coleman and Florence Ramsey Green. Faye grew up in Foster, Oklahoma. She graduated from Sanger High School in Sanger, Texas in 1944. After high school, her family moved to Fort Worth and she worked at Armour’s Packing Company.
Faye married William (Bill) Driver February 15, 1946 in Fort Sill, Oklahoma. They were happily married for 54 years until Bill’s death in September, 2000. Faye was a member of Rolling Hills Baptist Church, and then Hallmark Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday School for many decades. During this time, she volunteered at the East Side Little League and Pony League parks. She was also a member of the Athletics Booster Club at Polytechnic High School where her sons attended school. She was an active member of the PTA at her children’s schools. Her hobbies included fishing, bowling, dominoes, and reading. She loved playing with her grandchildren and attending their activities.
Faye was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, William (Bill) Driver; parents, Coleman and Florence Green; siblings, Earl Green, Edward Green and wife, Faye, Olga Faust and husband, Bill, and Rosalie Ingram and husband, Jess. She was also preceded in death by her granddaughter, Becky Keel and nephews, Danny Ingram and Roger Green.
Faye is survived by her sons, Billy Driver and wife, Donna, Don Driver; daughter, Karen Driver Keel; brother, Ogden Green and wife, Marcia; grandchildren, Nikki Driver, Carly Driver, Coleman Driver, and Amanda Elston and her husband, Taylor; nieces and nephews, Francine Hernandez, Brenda Latimer, David Faust and Richard Ingram; and many great-nieces and great-nephews.
