Eulalio Michael Navarro, Jr. passed away on Tuesday, March 29, 2016 after a prolonged illness. He was the first born son of Eulalio V. Navarro Sr and Myra Harkrader Navarro and was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He attended Lane Technical High School, Chicago, Illinois and served in the US Marine Corp in Okinawa. Upon leaving the Marines, he worked for the Illinois Department of Revenue as a collection officer and worked for many years in various management positions in the hospitality industry in Arizona and California. He retired from his position at the Comfort Inn, Phoenix Arizona in 1999.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Stephanie Markham Navarro, and his son, Michael Richard Navarro. Michael married Hilda Marietta Williams and was blessed with a daughter, Michelle Navarro Crabb who lives in Georgia with his 2 grandchildren, Cynthia Deborah Bergloff and Shyanne Erin Bergloff. He was recently blessed with a new great grandson, Xavier Chavez.
Michael is survived by his sister, Maria Elena Thompson, Galien, Michigan and Dr. Richard Navarro, Grapevine Texas.
He was a lifetime member of the National Rifle Association and an avid collector of old time western movies.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 9, 2016 at 9 AM at White’s Chapel United Methodist Church, Southlake, Texas in the Founding Chapel.
