Evelyn Parker Cannon

July 3, 1949 — August 24, 2019

Evelyn Parker Cannon, 70, a resident of Keller, Texas, passed away on Saturday, August 24, 2019, after a summer filled with hospital stays. She courageously battled, but her heart and lungs needed a rest.
Born in Tyler, Texas, on July 3, 1949, to Murray and Edna Parker, Evelyn Cannon was a loving mother who kept busy with a plethora of occupations. She worked as a certified nursing assistant and began her studies to become a Licensed Vocational Nurse. She worked as a server, a cook, and a manager in many restaurants over the years. She enjoyed gardening, crocheting, painting, plus outdoor activities such as fishing. She even dabbled in construction when she built a room on the front of our house. She absolutely loved watching professional baseball, cheering her Texas Rangers on. Evelyn Cannon was a jokester at heart who loved to laugh!
Evelyn Cannon is survived by her three daughters, Tonya Moreland of Kellern and Kathy Worden of Longview; her grandchildren Devin Bradshaw of McKinney, Jacob Moreland of Electra and Hope Moreland of Keller; her brother John Reed of Bullard.
Evelyn Cannon is predeceased by her oldest sister Annette Cummins, 1972, and her twin sister Mildred Calhoun, April, 2019.
