Evelyn Marguerite Wooten

Evelyn Marguerite Wooten passed away March 30, 2020 in Bedford, Texas.
Evelyn was born on October 25, 1938 in Waco, Texas. She married the love of her life, Charlie Wooten, on April 29, 1956. They lived life to the fullest and traveled and raised three children in Hurst, Texas. Evelyn had a very long career working in the Mortgage business for Fort Worth Mortgage. She was a beautiful, dignified lady who was always put together. She was the matriarch of her family and her neighborhood where she and Charlie resided for over 50 years. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends who loved her.
She is proceeded in death by her parents, Eddie and Marguerite Thornton, and her sisters, Dorothy and Ann.
She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Charlie Wooten, her daughter Pam Ludwick (Kenny), her son Thomas Wooten (Rene’), and daughter Jenise Bradley (John), her grandchildren, Chad, Amy, and Kendra, and great-granddaughter, Brielle. Evelyn is also survived by her sister, Meda.
Private family burial was in Whitney Memorial Cemetery. A Celebration of Life service will take place 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 30, 2021 at Lucas Funeral Home, in Hurst.
