Feliciano Munoz Acosta

On Thursday, Feburary 4th, 2021, Feliciano Muñoz Acosta, loving husband,father,brother,uncle and friend passed away at the age of 80.
Feliciano was born on April 23, 1940 in Dr. Arroyo, Nuevo Leon Mexico to Bonifacio Muñoz and Emilia Acosta de Muñoz but if you were to ask him he would say I'm from Chicago. He worked at the Dallas Country Club for over 10 years. Then he worked for Slaughter's Lumber Company until he decided to start his own business as a Home Remodeling Contractor. On June 9th, 1962, he married Mary Chagoya. They raised two daughters, Lupita and Lilly and one son, Jr.
Feliciano had a passion for making people laugh, mexican music and his Dodge Ram . He also loved having big parties and bringing the band home, making the best carnitas ever,watchin western movies, spoiling the grandkids and great grandkids and the Dallas Cowboys - NOT. For the past 15 years he had been on Dialysis. After each treatment he looked forward to going out to eat. If he wasn't eating a gordita de chicharron and a taco of chorizo and egg, he would be at the Waffle House enjoying 3 scrambled eggs, crispy crispy almost cremated bacon, white toast and a cup of sugar with a dash of coffee.
Feliciano was preceded in death by his father Bonifacio Muñoz , his mother Emilia Acosta de Muñoz, his sisters Santos Muñoz Acosta, Cuca Arzola, Erminia Costilla,Virgina Ramos, Francisca Zuñiga, Carmelia Muñoz Acosta, his brother Jose Muñoz Acosta, his brother-n-laws Jose Arzola, Joaquin Ramos, Margarito Costilla, Norberto Rodriguez, Aurelio Zuñiga,his nephews Pablo Arzola, Pancho Arzola,Ruben Armijo ,his nieces Gela Pacheco, Estela Arzola and his great granddaughter Natalia Marie Muñiz.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years Mary Muñoz, daughter Lupita and son-n-law Abraham Ruiz, daughter Lilly and son-n-law Rodney Witherspoon and son Jr. Muñoz. Granddaughters' Vanessa and husband Julian Muñiz ,Tiffany Bonilla, Nevaeh Muñoz and Josslyn Muñoz, grandsons' Marc Antonio Ruiz and Will Witherspoon. Great grandchildren Kennedy Richardson, Alexa Muñiz and Liam Muñiz and many many other family members and friends that loved him dearly.
He will be cremated and there will be no memorial service due to unforseen circumstances . We will be posting a memorial video and mailing out a obituary.



El jueves 4 de febrero de 2021, Feliciano Muñoz Acosta, esposo amoroso, padre, hermano, tío y amigo falleció a la edad de 80 años.
Feliciano nació el 23 de abril de 1940 en Dr. Arroyo, Nuevo León México, hijo de Bonifacio Muñoz y Emilia Acosta de Muñoz, pero si le preguntaban él decia soy de Chicago. Trabajó en el Dallas Country Club durante más de 10 años. Luego trabajó para Slaughter's Lumber Company hasta que decidió comenzar su propio negocio como contratista de remodelación de casas. El 9 de junio de 1962, se casó con Mary Chagoya. Tuvieron dos hijas, Lupita y Lilly y un hijo, Jr.
Feliciano tenía una pasión por hacer reír a la gente, la música mexicana y su Dodge Ram. También le encantó tener grandes fiestas y llevar un banda de musica a la casa, haciendo las mejores carnitas , viendo películas del oeste, mimando sus nietos y bisnietos y a los Dallas Cowboys - NO. Durante los últimos 15 años había estado en diálisis. Después de cada tratamiento esperaba salir a comer. Si no estuviera comiendo una gordita de chicharrón y un taco de chorizo y huevo, estaría en la Waffle House disfrutando de 3 huevos revueltos, tocino crujiente casi cremado , pan tostado y una taza de azúcar con una pizca de café.
Feliciano fue precedido en la muerte por su padre Bonifacio Muñoz, su madre Emilia Acosta de Muñoz, sus hermanas Santos Muñoz Acosta, Cuca Arzola, Erminia Costilla, Virgina Ramos, Francisca Zuñiga, Carmelia Muñoz Acosta, su hermano José Muñoz Acosta, sus cuñados José Arzola, Joaquín Ramos, Margarito Costilla, Norberto Rodríguez, Aurelio Zuñiga, sus sobrinos Pablo Arzola, Pancho Arzola, su sobrinas Gela Pacheco, Estela Arzola y su bisnieta Natalia Marie Muñiz.
Le sobreviven su esposa de 57 años Mary Muñoz, su hija Lupita y su yerno Abraham Ruiz, su hija Lilly y su yerno Rodney Witherspoon e hijo Jr. Muñoz. Nietas Vanessa y su esposo Julian Muñiz, Tiffany Bonilla, Nevaeh Muñoz y Jocelyn Muñoz, Nietos Marc Anthony Ruiz y Will Witherspoon. Los bisnietos Kennedy Richardson, Alexa Muñiz y Liam Muñiz y muchos otros familiares y amigos que lo amaban mucho.
Será incinerado y no habrá servicio conmemorativo debido a circunstancias infortunadas. Publicaremos un video conmemorativo y enviaremos un obituario por correo.
