Felix “Papi” Jimenez Pichardo – a loving husband, father, uncle, brother and friend of many - passed away on November 12th, 2022 at the age of 84 in Fort Worth, Texas.
Felix was born to Luis M. and Victoriana in Salcedo, Dominican Republic, and immigrated and settled in Brooklyn, NY at a young age. He had two marriages and welcomed seven children, Felix Jr., Jackie, Gloria, Jacqueline, Katherine, Neysha and Daniel.
He studied at an Engineering Institute and achieved an HVAC certification. Shortly after starting his career, together with his wife “Tana” they started their own business. Due to their success, a few years later they opened and managed two local bodegas.
Through the years, Papi enjoyed playing dominoes with his friends, and hosting social gatherings in his home. Papi was a stranger to no one and found great purpose impacting many lives and wholeheartedly there for those in his life.
After retiring at an early age from New York, Papi moved back to his beloved country to enjoy his time with family and friends. Most days you would find him having an intense Dominoes competition with friends, where things would get ugly if he lost.
Papi is survived by his seven children, twelve grandchildren and numerous siblings, nephews, and nieces.
Memorial services will be held at Lucas Funeral Home (1601 S. Main St. Keller, TX 76248). There will be a visitation held on Wednesday, November 16th from 6:00pm - 8:00pm.
