Fernando Galvan San Miguel was born on November 6, 1955 in San Angelo, Texas and passed away on December 4, 2021 in Fort Worth, Texas.
Fernando was graduate of Central High School in San Angelo. He worked for UPS and was a member of Teamsters Local Union #767. He was an avid Dallas Cowboys Fan. Fernando loved to fish but he also enjoyed golfing and he even liked to cook. He was a solemn and quiet with initial meeting but one would soon discover that Fernando was funny and sarcastic. He was sacrificial and very generous. He loved spending time with his family and truly loved hanging out with his grandchildren. Most wouldn’t know, but he was also creative and artistic.
He is survived by his wife of over 16 years, Patti Ann San Miguel of Haltom City, Texas; mother, Jovita San Miguel of San Angelo; children, Fernando San Miguel, II and wife, Amanda of Euless, Steven San Miguel of San Angelo, Matthew Andrade and wife, Jennifer of Krum, Krystal Martinez and husband, Ivan of Hurst, Sarah Dunlap and husband, Raymond of Haltom City and Katie Applin of Hurst; grandchildren, Fernando III, Kate, Blair, Mason, Madelyn, James, John, Emaline, Amery and Gabrielle; and 2 great grandchildren; brother, Arthur San Miguel and many extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M., Wednesday, December 8, 2021 at Lucas Funeral Home in Hurst. Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 A.M., Thursday, December 9, 2021 also at Lucas Funeral Home. The graveside service will be held at 1:00 P.M., Friday, December 10, 2021 at Johnson’s Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens in San Angelo, Texas.
