Florine Huff

Florine B. Huff, 98, wife of the late Ralph C. Huff, passed away peacefully August 12, 2020 in the care of her son and family. She was born August 20, 1921 in Grapevine, Texas, to the late Walter and Emma “Belle” (Weddel) Stafford. Mrs. Huff was a life-long resident of Grapevine, even donating items to the Grapevine Museum. She completed high school in Grapevine in 1940, and later that year married Ralph in Fort Worth, Texas. They raised one son together, George, and celebrated 58 years of marriage. Mrs. Huff worked many years as an assembly worker in Dallas before retiring. She enjoyed gardening, fishing, attending church, and the simple pleasures in life. In her later years, she loved making rounds at the local garage sales, sang in the choir at the Grapevine Senior Citizens, and spending time with friends and family. She was a lifelong fan of the Dallas Cowboys and Texas Rangers.

Mrs. Huff is survived by: son and his wife, George and Linda Huff of Alvin, Texas; granddaughter and husband, Lee and Thomas Kirsch of Alvin, Texas; great-grandson, Justin Kirsch of Alvin, Texas; niece Sandy Huff of Grapevine, Texas; and great-niece and her husband, Lisa and Ricky Arnim of Corinth, Texas.

Visitation will be held Friday, August 21, 6-8pm at Lucas Funeral Home, 700 W. Wall St., Grapevine, TX. A graveside memorial service will be held Saturday, August 22, 10am at Bluebonnet Hills Cemetery, 5747 Bluebonnet Dr., Colleyville, Texas.
