Frances Arini

Frances (Fay) Arini 94 passed away peacefully on Tuesday December 25th 2012

Frances was born and raised in Brooklyn New York and was one of nine children born to Salvatore and Maria Borgese.

Her greatest passion was unbelievable cooking.  All her family and friends loved her Italian food, especially her sauce.

She was a caring sister to her three brothers and five sisters, and was a caregiver to her parents as well. She was married to Lucio (Al) for fifty four years until he passed away.  Not only was she a dedicated daughter, sister and friend, but also a loving and caring wife and aunt to her many nieces and nephews.  Most of all, she was a giving and supportive mother to her son and gave him much confidence in all his ventures.  Her love peaked with the birth of her only granddaughter whom she adored.

Upon her husbands retirement, both moved to Scottsdale Arizona and lived there for over thirty years.  She made many new Friends while living in her community and was active in yearly events and parties.

After the passing of her husband, she lived alone for several years, but, it was necessary after time, to bring her to her final place with her son in Texas.

Her last years were challenging for both her and her son but she wanted to be near him always.

Her passing on Christmas day will be a day of sorrow and happiness. We will forever be thankful for the time we were able to share with her.
