Frances Elizabeth Boyer

Sadly, we announce the passing of our mother, Frances Elizabeth (Bettie) Boyer, age 92. Mom passed on early Sunday, 3 February 2019, while in hospice care at Heartis Place in Fort Worth, Texas.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Samuel R. Boyer Jr. and her brother, Howard Carlisle Mackenzie, Jr.
Mom was born in Hagerstown, Maryland to H.C. Mackenzie and Frances A. McLaughlin on 25 November, 1926.
Raised in western Maryland, Mom graduated from Westminster High School.
She is survived by her three children, son, Samuel R Boyer III and daughters Elizabeth Colleen Foster and Jennifer Joann Talbot. All three reside in North Texas. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, six great grandchildren and 5 great-great grand children.
Mom is also survived by her dear friend, Bill Mash of Hillsboro, Texas.

Mom and Dad lived an exciting and interesting life together. Mom graduated nursing school later in life and together as an army career officer and a Bell Helicopter executive’s wife, she travelled, or lived, throughout the United States, Europe, Iran, India and Thailand.
Mom will be interred in her final resting place later this year at Arlington National Cemetery with Dad.
Memorial services will be held at Lucas Funeral Home, Precinct Line Road in Hurst, Texas on Saturday, 16 February 2019 at 1 pm.
