Frances "Erlene" Holland Yessick

Frances “Erlene” Holland Yessick, 85, of Fort Worth, Texas, passed away peacefully in her sleep on September 07, 2021 after a short battle with lung cancer. She was born to parents Margaret Walters and Walter Holland, on June 18, 1936 in Concord, NC.
Erlene met Harold Yessick in October 1954 and they were married the same year on December 19. Together they raised 3 children: Ronald Yessick, Karen Yessick Minatra, Wade Yessick.
Erlene is survived by her loving husband of 66 years Harold Yessick; son Ronald Yessick (Leann); daughter Karen Yessick Minatra; grandchildren Aaron Yessick (Amy); Ashley Yessick Gawley (Cameron); Suzanne Minatra. Great-grandchildren Blane Awtry; Harlan Yessick; Austin Crain; Austin Gawley; Ryelan Yessick; Olivia Gawley; and Wylie Yessick.
She was preceded in death by her parents; stepmother Eula Holland; son Wade Yessick; two brother’s William Holland and Vance Holland; sister Iris Holland Moore; and sister-in-law Carol Holland.
The family would like to offer special thanks to caregiver, Dana Burks, for her compassion, friendship, and skilled assistance, as well as Vitas Hospice and Home Instead Senior Care for making Erlene’s final days comfortable and peaceful.
The family has entrusted Lucas Funeral Home with the arrangements. A Memorial Service is scheduled for October 16, 11:00 a.m. at South Euless Baptist Church, 1000 Simmons Drive, Euless, TX. Bro. Johnny Kimberlin will officiate the service.
