Frances Louise McMurtrey, 93, passed away Saturday, October 28, 2017 in Keller.
Graveside Service: 11:00 am Thursday, November 2, 2017 at Whites Chapel Cemetery, Southlake. Visitation: 6-8pm, Wednesday, November 1, at Lucas Funeral Home, Hurst.
Louise, Granny to many, was born on March 23, 1924 in Grapevine. She was a homemaker who enjoyed gardening, cooking and sewing. Louise was active in the church until her later years but was still a member of Bellevue Baptist in Hurst.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold E. McMurtrey and son, Barry L. McMurtrey.
Louis is survived by her daughters, Beverly Martin and husband, Danny, Sherry McMurtrey, Lindy Nelson and husband, David, and Cindy Compton and husband, Randy; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great great-grandchildren; and many other extended family and friends.
