Frances Claire Loux

Frances C. Loux, age 78, entered into eternal rest on February 23, 2021 in Fort Worth, Texas. She was born April 30, 1942 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Thomas Kidd and Leona Szlagowski. She had a long career in civil service as a dedicated and well-respected financial officer; retiring from the Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS) at Fort Sam Houston, Texas in 2005. After her retirement, she enjoyed reading and baking for friends and family and loved spending time with her grandchildren. She was a loving mother and known to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren as "Gabby".

She was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Enos A. Loux, Jr.

She is survived by her daughters Terry Slife, her husband David and Jo Ann Stevens and her husband Todd; grandchildren, Jennifer George and her husband Jared, Cameron Slife, Ryan Slife, Keegan Slife and Amelia Stevens and great-grandchildren, Gracy George and Bella George.

A private graveside service will be held at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio, Texas.
