Frances (Frankie) Jane Orman passed away December 18, 2017, at her home in Roanoke, Texas.
Born March 15, 1945, in Amarillo, Texas, she was the daughter of the late Dan B. and Vonceil Hay Salkeld.
Ms. Orman graduated from Tascosa High School and earned a Bachelor of Applied Arts and Science from North Texas State University. She worked as an educator for 30 years and retired from Grapevine Middle School. Her personal statement for herself was: I'm a native Texan, a single mom of two Aggies who married Aggies, a grandmother of three future Aggies, a teacher with a golden retriever personality, and one who loves time with family and friends, as well as learning and traveling.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Lucas Funeral Home in Grapevine, Texas.
She is survived by her son Joseph Orman Jr. and his wife Jennifer of Keller and her daughter Jennifer Witcher and her husband David of Cypress; a sister Paula Deaton of Amarillo; and 3 grandchildren, Macy and Trey of Keller and Coby of Cypress.
