DENTON -- Frank E. Cheshire, Jr, (Col. U.S. Air Force retired), 77, passed away peacefully Monday, July 20, 2015.
Funeral service 11am Monday, First Baptist Church of Colleyville, 5300 Colleyville Blvd. Interment will follow at 1:15pm in Dallas/Fort Worth National Cemetery. Visitation will be 3:00-5:00pm Sunday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Mid Cities Pregnancy Center. An organization that was very dear to Frank.

Frank was born April 3, 1938 in St. Louis, Missouri to Frank and Marjorie Cheshire. Frank joined the Air Force in 1959 and served until 1987. He met and married the love of his life, Ellen Gamm of Mt. Clemens, Michigan in 1967 while he was assigned to Selfridge AFB. After his 28 year career in the Air Force, he went to work for American Airlines as one of their oldest new hire pilots and flew for 10 years. He continued to work for
American Airlines for five more years in a non flying position.
Frank lived a life of faith in God and he knew Jesus Christ as his savior. He was a faithful husband and loving father. He loved people and never met a stranger. No matter where he traveled, from London to Hong Kong he was always running into people he knew.
Frank is survived by his wife of 48 years Ellen; son Michael and his wife Rhonda and their children Noah, Jonah, and Jordan; son Bradley and his wife Angela and their children Victoria and Katherine; daughter Ashley and her husband Ryan Goodlin and their children Gavin and Bryson.
