Franklin D "Buddy" Bird

Franklin Delano "Buddy" Bird, 82, died Tuesday, Jan. 19, 2016.
Graveside service: 1 p.m. Friday in Bourland Cemetery, Keller.
Franklin was born Jan. 8, 1934, to Jeff A. "Gus" Bird and Clara M. Gray in Fort Worth. He was from a family of 8 boys and 8 girls, of which, 7 brothers and 4 sisters preceded him in death, leaving 4 sisters here to mourn his death.
Frank was a wonderful father, grandfather, great grandfather and husband. He is now rejoined with his bride of 56 years, Rita, or as he affectionately called her, his "Meano".
And for those who knew him well, that "George's mule barn" has closed it's doors for the last time, and he will "See you in the funny papers!"
