One part he was responsible for and was particularly proud of was a part that was used on the Space Shuttle.
Wood working was his favorite hobby. He made his wife Bessie a beautiful bedroom suite and numerous other cherished furniture pieces. Each piece was made from a place of his love for family. He also had a way of telling stories about his life or family history that never got old or boring and showed how important family was to him. He loved the outdoors and loved to hunt and fish. He loved music and singing. It didn’t matter where he was, working in his barn or house, or even in the store or hospital, there was usually a song that he would be singing.
