Franklin Talmage Finley (Tal) of Fort Worth passed away on Saturday, March 28, 2020 in Dallas, Texas. Tal was Born to George and Irene Finley on December 17, 1951 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Tal Died leaving a mark on this world in the hearts of so many people. His true love, above all else, was people. He Had an infectious smile, a big laugh, and a kind, childlike soul that instantly won people over. An Air Force veteran and traveling RV salesman for 30+ years, he made friends everywhere he went-from gas station attendants to toll booth operators and to his customers and colleagues.
He loved football and was a lifelong Dallas Cowboys fan. He loved going to the movies, watching The Young and the Restless, and fishing. He was also an avid photographer. He was heavily involved in the community – whether it was a date night with his wife in Sundance Square, patrolling the neighborhood as a volunteer with the Fort Worth Police Department (FWPD), or attending his children’s, step children’s, and step grandchildren’s events.
A loving father, husband, and friend, Tal is survived by the love of his life and devoted wife, Linda Finley and her daughters, Erica Horman and Sheena Barthold, his three sons, Anthony Finley (Claudine), Dustin Finley, and Jonathan Finley, his soon-to-be grandson, Luke Finley, and his four step grandchildren. He is also survived by his sisters, Ginny Russell and Kay Burke.
He will be missed by all but not forgotten.
