Freda Earlene Snider

Freda Earlene Snider , of Justin passed away peacefully on December 1, 2013 at Baylor Hospital in Ft. Worth. Freda was born in Alameda, California to Earl and Freda Barker and was the oldest of three girls. She was a loving daughter, wife, mother, sister and friend. She was known by those close to her as Enie and if you needed anything she would always be there for you. She loved travel, history and family research and she was a proud member of the Arkansas Cherokee Nation. She will be greatly missed.
She is survived by husband James (Jim) Snider, four children; Phil, Jimmy, Johnathan and Michelle, 10 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren, and two sisters; Donna Diley of Columbus, Ohio and Barbara Frerking of Atoka, Oklahoma.
Visitation will be held at Lucas Funeral Home, 305 1st St., Justin, TX., on Thursday, Dec. 5, 2013, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Funeral service will be on Friday, Dec. 6, at 2:00 pm. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park in Denton, TX.
Arrangements are under the direction of Lucas Funeral Home in Justin.
