Garrett Victor Lambert, 22, went to be in the arms of the Lord on May 24, 2024. He was born on September 27, 2001 in Ft. Worth, Texas to his loving parents, Bob and Jennifer Lambert.
As he grew up in north Texas, Garrett attended Birdville ISD from K through 2nd grade, Keller ISD from 3rd to 6th grade, and Argyle ISD from 7th to the 12th grade.
Garrett always had a smile on his face and enjoyed doing anything with friends and family. He loved playing many sports growing up including baseball, football, basketball, wrestling, soccer, swimming, sporting clays and competitive fishing to mention a few. He also raced go carts when he was 8. Garrett enjoyed hunting and fishing and anything outdoors.
Garrett was always looking for ways to make money and took on side jobs during the summers. He enjoyed going to the Casino with friends and often won big.
Garrett was able to harvest a deer from his wheel chair after his accident and knowing there were still things to accomplish and enjoy were his motivation to work hard. Hospital staff complimented Garrett on his positive attitude considering the situation he was put into. His ability to fight will always be remembered.
Most of all he was a loving big brother. Garrett was a mentor to Lilli by always encouraging her to work hard in school and how to be a better person.
He is preceded in death by his older brother, Brett Lambert, who passed away in November of 2018.
Garrett has left many loving family members behind, including his parents Bob and Jennifer; his little sister Lilli; grandparents Will and Jona Lambert, Sarah and Jim McElroy, Tom and Mary Mulcahy; uncles and aunts Michelle and Rodney Hood, Stephanie and Ron Smith, and Eric Mulcahy; and cousins Regan, Carson, and Tyler Kirby. He will be greatly missed by everyone that knew him.
