Gary James Bollin

Gary James Bollin passed away on February 25,2024 surrounded by family, after a short battle of lung cancer. Gary was born October 6, 1952 in Fort Worth, Tx. Gary graduated from South Grand Prairie High School in 1971.

He was known to be adventurous during his teenage years; just ask his twin brother and sister.
He was a huge fan of Willie Nelson. He never let you be in a room without making you feel like you belonged. He was always cracking jokes and being silly, he was the life of the party. Being a grandparent came naturally to him. His grandchildren brought him so much joy and happiness; he had them convinced his name was King Papa.

Gary could talk to you about anything history related and how he believed in UFO's. He always looked forward to new history channel episodes.

Gary is preceded in death by his father William James Bollin Jr, his mother Mary Ruth Bollin and the love of his life Debbie Richardson. He is survived by his 2 daughters and bonus daughter Dawn (Jay) Forbush, Amber Eastwood (David Duckett) and Driel Szany. 8 grandchildren Brittany, Marcus, Bryce, Andrew, Kaiden, Sadie, Rylan and Sergio. 4 great grandchildren Brayden, Bryson, Brihanna, and Braeylon. Gary is survived by his twin brother Larry (Debbie) Bollin and family and his sister Debra Jean (Ernie) Strickland and family.
