Gayle R. Bean entered into a peaceful slumber on Saturday, February 10, 2018 surrounded by family.
Funeral: 11:00 am, Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at Lucas Funeral Home.
Visitation: 6:00 to 8:00 pm, Monday, February 19, 2018 at the funeral home.
Burial: 1:00 pm, Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at the Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery.
Gayle was raised in White Settlement and graduated from Brewer High School in 1965. The day after graduation he left for Marine bootcamp. He served 2 years in Vietnam. Gayle spent many years as a machinist and then changed careers to enter healthcare. All of his patients loved him. He retired after 20 years years in patient care to stay home and take care of his grandkids. He was the best husband, dad, brother and pawpaw anyone could ask for.
He is survived by his wife, Stacy Bean; daughters, Teresa Bean and Rebakah Bean; sons, Daniel Johnson and Justin Caskey and wife, Brittany; grandchildren, Caiden, Alyssa, Mykaela, Serenity, and Rhett; sister, Julie Williams and husband, Dennis; and many other extended family and friends.
