Gayle Vaughn Cashion

Gayle Vaugh Cashion, 88 passed away peacefully on August 12, 2024, at his home in Bedford Texas.

Gayle is survived by his, daughter Kathleen Cashion and boyfriend Paul Davis of the US Virgen Islands, son David Cashion and wife Ann Cashion of Euless Texas, son Christopher Cashion of San Francisco California and brother Sherman Moore and wife Iris Moore of Grand Junction Colorado.

He is also survived by 2 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. 

Gayle was predeceased by wife of 62 years Barbara Ann and son Mark Cashion. His mother Ada Moore and stepfather Bill Moore. Father RM Cashion, brothers Carl Cashion, Edwin Cashion and Jim Moore. 

Gayle was an Army veteran serving our country from1954 thru 1957. During that time, he received the military and marksman metal, good conduct and overseas ribbons. He was also a member of the retail clerk’s union for 25+ years. He was an avid song writer and musician and loved to travel.

A memorial service will be held at Lucas Funeral home located at 1321 Precinct Line Road Hurst Texas 76053 on Saturday August 17 at 10:00 am. 

There will be a Family and Friends gathering starting immediately after the service at Barbara’s and Gayle’s home.
