Gayle Karen Sheppard was born on February 16, 1942 to Beatrice and John Dahl in Duluth, MN. Gayle passed peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family in Grapevine, TX on October 02, 2022 after a long battle with cancer.
She is survived by loving husband Joe Sheppard, daughter Cyndi and husband Shawn Anderson, son Joseph Sheppard, 4 loving grandchildren, Matthew Finner, Daniel, Anissa, and Elizabeth Sheppard, sisters Bonnie Smith and Lenore and husband Jimmy, Priestley, and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, brother David Dahl, and sisters Mary Smith and Sherry Cusick.
Gayle graduated from Hermantown High in Hermantown, MN in 1960 and was one of six children. She was passionate about God, music, her family and friends. She was a strong person of faith and prayer warrior. She loved gospel music and held many positions in the church. She is remembered for her passion and feisty, red headed personality that was loved by all who knew her and she will be deeply missed.
