Geneivee R. Field

Geneivee R. Field passed away on November 21, 2019 in Grapevine, Texas. She was 93 years of age.

Geneivee was born on August 18, 1926 in Dora, Texas to Nettie May Porter and James Arthur Rhodes. She attended Divide High School and was a proud graduate of Hardin Simmons University. Her Bachelors of Science in Education lead to a career as an English Teacher in both Texas and New Mexico. Geneivee married Leo "Skeet" N. Field, Sr. on April 4th, 1947. Throughout their marriage they lived together in Texas, New Mexico, as well as, Oklahoma.

Geneivee was a Sunday School and Church member of First Baptist Church in Keller. She loved the Dallas Cowboys and treasured her family time with her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and their spouses.

Geneivee was preceded in passing by her husband, Leo "Skeet" N. Field; her parents; and her four brothers and two sisters, as well as their spouses.

She is survived by her children, Leo "Dusty" N. Field, Jr. and wife, Lauri, Gena Lea Field Etheredge and husband, Byron, and Janice Beth Field LaManna and husband, Mike; along with 8 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren.

Celebration of Life Service: 11:00 am Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at Lucas Funeral Home in Keller. the family will greet guests one hour prior to the service. A private burial will take place at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Weatherford.
