Genirde “Geni” Glenn was born on October 14, 1982 in Miami, Florida. She went to be with her Lord and Savior on August 13, 2021 in North Richland Hills at the age of 38 years old.
Geni met her husband, Elijah while attending Stephen F. Austin State University where she was a top preparer at Aramark Catering Service and psychology graduate. They were married on March 10, 2007. She was currently a director of home school education. Geni was a generous servant of the Lord and was very active in her church at Cross City Church in Euless, where she was preschool coordinator and a part of the Home School Association. She was an avid reader with C.S. Lewis and R.C. Sproul being among her favorite authors; but she also loved political and religious podcasts and blogs. Geni really loved spending time with her family while cooking and trying all types of new recipes. She was a jack of all trades and also enjoyed video games, satirical shows, camping, gardening and being with friends.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Hilaire P. Julsaint, Altagrace Neely, Suzanne C. Previl, and Luis Alberto.
She is survived by her beloved and devoted husband, Elijah Glenn of Hurst, Texas; precious children, Gianna Glenn, Joshua Glenn, Ethan Glenn, and Jordana Glenn; her adoring parents, father, Charles Julsaint of Orlando, Florida and mother, Amelia Ingrid Llera of Miami, Florida; brothers and sisters, Aerial Julsaint, Jacob Julsaint, Amanda F. Orelus, Annabel F. Orelus, Christiana Julsaint, and Samantha Julsaint; Her in-laws, Betty King, Titus Glenn, Shanterry Glenn, Kishundra King, Judge Glenn and Barbara Glenn; Aunts and Uncles, Fabiola Llera, Daphne Llera, and Hermite Jean Baptiste; nieces and nephews, Trinity Glenn, Faith Glenn, Promise Glenn, Titus J. Glenn, Porter Julsaint, and Phoenix Julsaint; as well as her church community friends, homeschool community friends, and countless others. And of course, her Frenchy, Pixie.
A visitation will be held from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M., Friday, August 20, 2021 at Cross City Church located at 1000 Airport Freeway, Euless, Texas 76051. Funeral Service will also take place at Cross City Church at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, August 21, 2021 with Pastor John Meador and Tommie Turner Officiating. Interment will take place following the service at Parker Memorial Cemetery in Grapevine. Serving as pallbearers are Nucleus Johnson, Edmond Simpson Jr., Michael Samano, Greg Scoggins, Ariel Julsaint, Tommy Bowman, Chris Jones, and Ricky Verdadero. Honorary Pallbearers are Joshua Glenn and Ethan Glenn.
