George B. Dingus, 80, passed away Thursday, Sept. 29, 2016.
He was born July 20, 1936, in Kingsport, Tenn., to John B. and Talma Dingus. George served four years in the Unites States Air Force. After returning home, in 1960 he married Shelby Jean West.
George spent much time away from his family as a long haul truck driver, and cherished the wonderful moments he could be home. He was a friendly, easygoing, laidback man that loved the outdoors and spending time with family.
He was preceded in death by his son, Rickey Allen Dingus; his parents; two brothers; and one sister.
Survivors: His wife of 56 years, Shelby Jean Dingus; son, Randy Dingus; brother, Johnny Mack Dingus; and many more family and friends.
