George Dalton Midgley, 83, passed away Monday, April 24, 2017.
Service: Requiem Mass at 11 a.m. Saturday, at St. Vincent's Anglican Cathedral, 1300 Forest Ridge, Bedford.

George was born September 13, 1933 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late James and Lydia Davey Midgley. He proudly served as a pilot in the U.S. Air Force during the Cold War and retired as a Captain for American Airlines. George was an avid private pilot, woodworker and a home builder.
George was married nearly sixty years to his late wife, Marion. Together they traveled the world extensively.
Above all, he was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.
Survivors: Daughter, Frances Jacoby; brother, David Midgley and wife Mary Elaine; son, Justin Midgley Snow; grandchildren, Madison and Hannah Midgley, John Vincent Riggs, Jinny Foshee and husband Junathan, and Jeff Jacoby; great-grandchildren, Willow Foshee, Wyatt Foshee, and Edward Riggs; and a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and extended family members.
