Geraldine Whittaker

Geraldine E. Whittaker was born June 13, 1935 to the late Joseph Whittaker and Emily Means in Buffalo, New York. She was the fourth of seven children. She attended the Buffalo public school system and graduated from Fosdick-Masten Park High School. She was a member of the last class to graduate from F.M.P.H.S. in June 1953. She remained an active alumni till the end. She went on to further her education by completing her associates degree in Business Administration. She worked for American Airlines for 39 years retiring in 2002. Geri, affectionately called by family and friends, was a world traveler. She loved animals and creatures of all kinds. This passion included the beloved pets of family and friends as well. It was this special kind of love that had her traveling across the ocean to Germany with Goggles. She loved to give to family and friends. Although she didn't have any children of her own, she made sure those around her didn't go without. Geri made a beautiful transition into Glory on December 13, 2013. She was preceded in death by both of her parents; siblings, Joseph, Ruth, Benjamin, and Ray. Her pets: Dee Dee, Pe Pe, Buttons, Spanky, and Tiger. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her sister Elaine Taylor of Buffalo, N.Y. and her brother Robert Whittaker (Margaret Ann) Of Albuquerque, N.M. And a host of nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
