German Perez

German Perez passed away suddenly on Sunday July 31, 2022. German was born on April 13, 1964, in Puerto Rico to the late Clemente and Ana Marie (Caraballo) Perez. He leaves his loving fiancé of 12 years Melinda McLaughlin; his four children Anthony (Amelia Clemente) Perez; Angela (Mathew Gasca) Perez; Joseph (Brianna Smeltz) Perez; Nicolas (Isabelle Clemente) Perez; her two children Kelsey (Michael Brougher) Geary; Richelle (Tracy Brozich) McLaughlin. Proud grandfather of 11 grandchildren and Melinda’s 2 grandchildren. He was the youngest brother of 12 siblings, and so many Aunts, Uncles, and cousins.
German held many jobs in his short life working as a steel worker, food processor, but most of all he loved being an auto mechanic. He loved to take his children to drag race his Ford Mustangs and very happy that the boys have continued that love of racing themselves. He had to stop working in 2014 due to his diabetes but you could always find him in the garage working on some type of motor. He loved being a father to his four children and adored his 11 grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held later and place to be determined.
