Gerry Christine Polizzo of Haslet Texas, went to be with Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and beloved family members, on November 11th, 2020 in Haslet, Texas. Most knew her as Chris. She will always be remembered as a loving mother and wife to all that knew her. Chris was born on January 23rd, 1973 in Fort Worth, Texas to Roy Samuel Culbertson and Gerry Terese Culbertson Galloway. She attended Northwest High school and married her high school sweetheart, Pat, on August 11th, 1989. She deeply loved the life she built with her “honey”, Pat. They cherished 31 years of marriage and had four wonderful children. Chris dedicated her life to being a wonderful wife and mother. She enjoyed baking and spending time in the kitchen. She will be missed greatly by her dog, Rosie. She was employed with Denton County as a County Clerk where she loved building friendships with her kind co-workers. Chris was always the person family and friends went to for advice and guidance. She was strong-willed, determined, and generous to all she encountered.
Survived by many loving family members and friends who became family: Husband, Pat Polizzo, of Haslet, Texas; Daughter, Kendra “Droopy” Polizzo of Lindsay, Texas; Son, Sam Polizzo, of Haslet, Texas; Son, Andrew Polizzo, of Haslet, Texas; Daughter, Hannah “Girly” Polizzo, of Haslet, Texas; Mother, Gerry Galloway, of Decatur, Texas; Sister, Suzy Matthews, of Decatur, Texas; Sister, Rachel Markham, of Haslet, Texas; Granddaughter, Bristol, of Keller, Texas; Mother-in-law, Elaine Polizzo, of Haslet, Texas; 2 brother-in-laws, and many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.
She was proceeded in death by her Father, Roy Samuel Culbertson; Father-in-law, Paul Thomas Polizzo, Sr.; Step-father, James Donald Galloway; granddaughter, Addilynn Marie Polizzo; Grandfather, George Hilton Ford; grandmother, Sadie Mae Ford; Uncle, Keith Ford; cousin, Justin Ford.
The visitation will be held from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm for family and open to anyone 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm on Friday, November 13, 2020 at Lucas Funeral Home in Keller, Texas. The graveside service will be at Elizabeth Cemetery in Roanoke, Texas.
