Gilbert Cosby Garner was born on December 21, 1932, in Roanoke, Texas to Genas and Girtha Garner. He passed away at his home in Emory, Texas on July 16, 2018. He was 85 years of age.
Gilbert was preceded in passing by his son, Steven Cosby Garner; and his parents.
He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Frances Garner; daughter, Deanna Garner Alexander; sons, Randal Cosby Garner and Mikel Ray Garner; nine grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; and numerous family and friends.
