Gladys A. Sharp, 82, passed away November 1, 2016 in North Richland Hills. Visitation; Thursday, November 3, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Lucas Funeral Home, Hurst; Funeral Service; Friday, November 4, 1:00 p.m., Lucas Funeral Home Chapel, Hurst with Burial to follow at Parker Memorial Cemetery in Grapevine.In the early part of her life, she married the love of her life, Bobby Joe Sharp, 65 years ago. Now, her spirit is carried on by many family and friends.

Gladys was an active sister in Christ at Bedford Church of Christ for many years. When not at church, she enjoyed playing games, visiting family and friends and traveling. She made a difference in the lives of many. Those who knew her will remember her faithful Christian service and fierce love for her God and family. She was a woman of strong faith, believing in the power and strength of Jesus Christ’s love and the beauty and peace that would await her after her passing. She truly was the perfect role model of wife, sister, aunt and friend. Gladys will be severely missed here on earth, but we will be joyful when we are reunited in Heaven.
