COCHRAN - Glen Wesley Cochran, Jr. passed away unexpectedly in Angel Fire, NM on Monday, June 12. He was born in Ada, Oklahoma on December 12, 1954 to Glen W. Cochran & Jo L. White. He graduated from Garland High School, and went on to attend The University of Oklahoma where he was a member of the Alpha Tau Omega fraternity. He graduated in 1976, receiving a B.A. in Business.
Glen spent his career in the title Insurance business. He started as a traveling account representative for Lawyers Title Insurance Company. Glen went on to become the President of Commonwealth Land Title Company of Dallas and at the pinnacle of his career with Commonwealth, he became known as the "Six Million Dollar Man" for his achievement for the most profitable office in the country. He owned and operated a number of title companies and agencies and impacted the lives of so many customers, co-workers, employees and friends. He was a visionary in the title industry with a passion for quality work and “his people”. Glen Cochran was known all over the state of Texas in the title industry and he was a friend to so many he encountered.
Glen married the love of his life, Donna, in April of 1984 and also received the bonus of 2 children that adored him. They went on to have 39 years full of love, hard work & adventure.
Glen was an incredible husband, father and grandfather who touched the lives of countless people – turning strangers into friends. His tremendous life, legacy and personality will live on in everyone who ever had the pleasure of his company. Glen will be missed by all those who knew him and mourned by those who loved him.
He is preceded in death by his parents. Glen is survived by his loving wife Donna, daughter Kim von Hoff, son Jeremy von Hoff & wife Monica, son Wesley Cochran and stepbrother Kelly Phillips. Glen will also be missed by his 3 grandchildren Spencer, Patricia & Charlotte, his precious puppies, Gio & Gigi, and more friends than we could ever count.
A Viewing will be held at Lucas Funeral Home, Sunday June 25, 2023 2-4pm & services will be held at Legacy Church of Christ, North Richland Hills on Monday, June 26th at 11am. Private family burial to follow.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to The Wounded Warrior Project, Operation Kindness or The American Heart Association.
