Glenn Allen Shepherd

Glenn Allen Shepherd, 69, passed away July 24, 2022 at Texas Health Huguley in
Burleson. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm, Wednesday, July 27, 2022 at Lucas & Blessing Funeral Home, 518 SW Johnson Ave., in Burleson. After the memorial service, the family will be greeting friends and relatives in the fellowship hall at Lucas and Blessing Funeral home until 6:00 pm. Glenn was born December 17, 1952 in Frankfurt, Germany and adopted by Maurice and Faye Faulk Shepherd. He grew up in Burleson and graduated from Burleson High School in 1971. After high school he began working in construction and remodeling, eventually forming his own company, Glenn Shepherd Remodeling.
He was a master carpenter for 30+ years. Upon leaving the remodeling trade, he worked at Lowe’s Home Improvement where he retired in 2021 after 19 years of service.
Glenn married Linda in 2008 at Beaumont Ranch in Grandview, Texas. They were happily married for 13 years. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, traveling, playing poker with lifelong friends, and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Maurice Frank Shepherd and mother, Edith Faye Faulk Shepherd.
Glenn is survived by his wife, Linda of Burleson; daughter, Shari Shepherd and wife, Carrie Jensen; step-daughter, Keri Harbin; step-son, Troy Harbin and wife, Kristy; step-son, Gary Harbin and wife, Norma all residing in Burleson; grandchildren, Emerson, Kira, Jax, Garret, Brandon, Dylan and wife, Shawna, Tanner and Ashlyn; and great-grandchildren, Wesley Wade and Ava Jo.
