Gloria Vela, 79, of Hurst passed away May 11th in Hurst.
Ms. Vela was a cafeteria worker for HEB ISD for 30 years. She enjoyed watching sports and crafting. Ms. Vela was known for her helpful spirit and Catholic faith. She most recently resided at Bishop Davies Nursing Center in Hurst and was loved by all.
Ms. Vela is survived by her sons Mark Vela and Daniel Vela; daughter Diana Sears; sisters Mary Maldanado and Linda Periles; grandchildren PJ Sears, Christopher Sears, Nicolas Sears, Samantha Gifford, Veronica Vela, Victor Vela and Jeanette Harper; great granddaughter Rosalie Gifford and best friends Benalee Allen and Alvina Mendoza.
