Graciela Garcia, 82, of Grapevine, Texas, passed away on March 5, 2022. Graciela was born on September 15, 1939 to Leopoldo Morales and Emilia Morales Cruz in Las Esperanzas, Coahuila Mexico.
After completing cosmetology training she moved to San Antonio, Texas and worked at a children's shelter. She met Ladislao Garcia in San Antonio and they were married in 1964. They lived in San Antonio for a few years and moved to Grapevine, Texas in the late 1960"s when Ladislao's job was transferred to be near the new Dallas-Fort Worth Airport. They have 5 children. Aside from being a homemaker, Graciela also worked for SkyChef's for many years and then retired. After a sort retirement, Graciela worked for Southlake Carroll ISD as a bus aide. She loved working with children.
Graciela is preceded in death by her parents Leopoldo Morales and Emilia Morales Cruz, her brother, Ramiro Morales Cruz, sister, Nelida Morales Cruz, and her husband Ladislao Garcia.
She is survived by her sister, Obdulia Morales Cruz. She is also survived by her loving children, Edgar Garcia, Annabelle Garcia-Wurtz, Judith Garcia Dye, Cesar Garcia and Lydia Garcia Guevara. Graciela had six grandchildren who were the joy of her life; Lance Hudson, Mia Hudson Bakke, Nathan Garcia, Anthony Garcia, Emilia Wurtz, and Joey Wurtz. She also has two great-grandchildren, Harper Bakke and Luka Garcia, and many more cousins, extended family, in-laws and friends.
