Griselda Arredondo

Griselda Arredondo, 56, passed away February 13, 2021 at her home. Visitation will be held from 10:00am to 12:00pm, Saturday, March 6 at Lucas & Blessing Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at 1:00pm at Burleson Memorial Cemetery.
Griselda was born September 4, 1964 in Nuevo Laredo Tamaulipas Mexico to Juana Chavarria Aleman and Abel Garza Valdez. She grew up in Mexico, and in her teen years, she moved to Laredo, Texas, where she worked as a house keeper, worked with children in a daycare, and worked in a bakery for many years.
She married Daniel Arredondo in 1994 and they were happily married for 10 years. She enjoyed spending time with her daughters and grandchildren. Griselda loved cooking for her family and had a passion for home décor. She enjoyed shopping and decorating her house, which always looked captivating.
Griselda was preceded in death by her parents, Juana Chavarria Aleman and Abel Garza Valdez.
She is survived by her daughters, Claudia Velazquez and husband, Jose Aguilar, Grizelda Perez and husband, Jeremiah, Joselin Ventura and husband, Mario Alberto Valadez, Jr., Bernice Magana and husband, Christian, and Daniela Arredondo; siblings, Patricia Ramos and husband, John, Abel Garza and wife, Damaris, and Alejandro Garza and wife, Martha; grandchildren, Christian Ivan Fernandez, Rogelio David Aguilar, Rebecca Alondra Aguilar, Chloe Carina Perez, Gustavo Amador, III, Giselle Magana, Emily Magana, Valeria Magana, and baby girl Valadez; nieces and nephews, Abel Garza, III, Andres Garza, Alissa Garza, Marcos Garza, Crystal Martinez, Alejandra Ledezma, Alexeia Rodriguez, and Johnathan Ledezma.
