Guy Elliot Boroughs 1948-2025

Guy, Elliot Boroughs 76 of Crowley, TX passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 18, 2025, in Fort

Worth, TX. He was born in Hobbs, NM in 1948 to Andy and Kaki (Vaughn) Boroughs. He was a 1966

graduate of Hobbs High School before attending Texas Tech University. After graduating from Tech in

1970 he went to work for Texaco and later worked for Tenneco and Cabot Oil & Gas.

Guy was preceded in death his parents, Andy and Kaki Boroughs and his son Philip McDonald Boroughs.

He is survived by his wife Charlotte Manning Boroughs of Crowley, TX, his son Guy Boroughs II and his

wife Molly and granddaughter Anna of Aubrey, TX, and his brother Ron and wife Kim and niece Sydney

of Plano, TX.

Guy enjoyed hunting and fishing. He loved getting together with family for fish fries, crawfish boil, and

just visiting and spending time. He leaves behind many cousins and extended family member that will

truly miss him.
