Gwynn Fraser McGregor passed away peacefully on March 17, 2017. She has gone home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Throughout her time here, Gwynn lived a very blessed and joyous life. Her love of life and others will continue to transcend through many future generations.
Gwynn was a daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to many. Gwynn began her life on May 11, 1957 in New Orleans, Louisiana, the daughter of Whitman and Mary Fraser. She spent the majority of her childhood growing up in Hinesville, GA where she was a shining example of a true southern woman - always considering others more than herself. Gwynn always treated each person as if he or she was the only person in the room. Gwynn began her 25 year career as a flight attendant for Delta Airlines in 1980. Later, she married the love of her life, Alan, and together, they raised their two sons in the Grapevine area.
Along with the love of her family and friends, Gwynn also had a love for gardening. Her green thumb and beautiful gardens, which she spent many hours tending, are testament to her loving and nurturing spirit. Her approach with gardening was the same with people - she took the time to nurture and develop each relationship and friendship.
Although Gwynn’s time here was cut short, her legacy will live on through those who knew her and were touched by her beautiful spirit. Gwynn leaves behind her husband, Alan McGregor; Sons, Robert McGregor and Chris McGregor; Daughter in-laws, Lindsey McGregor and Melissa McGregor; Granddaughter, Reese McGregor; Sister, Sherry Somerville; Brother, Clint Fraser.
