Hadley Evan Burns

November 2, 2012 — February 20, 2020

Our sweet Hadley Evan Burns, age 7, of Rhome, TX went home to be with Jesus at 3:23 PM on February 20, 2020 at Cook Children’s Medical Center in Fort Worth, TX.

Hadley was born on November 2, 2012, in Enid, OK, to parents Schyler Burns and Lindsay Williams. Following is a long list of words family and friends used to describe Hadley: sweet, loving, big smile, fun-loving, brave, joyful, beautiful, kind, bold, expressive, intelligent, creative, funny, athletic, witty, superhero, amazing, vivacious, caring, friendly, tough and fearless, to name a few. Many of Hadley’s family and friends would describe her as a “firecracker”, full of spunk and zeal for life. Anywhere that Hadley went, she was the “life of the party”. If there was a microphone around, she would light up the room with her singing and dancing!

Hadley always wanted to make sure everyone knew they were loved, which caused her to be a wonderful friend to anyone who knew her and a great big sister to her younger brothers, while also letting her older sister know she did not need help. She was a perfect balance of a look that could cut through glass and a smile that could light up a room. Hadley was a “little sweetheart” to Mom, a “Superhero” to Dad and melted the hearts of her grandparents. To sum up Hadley’s impact on people: Everyone who met her loved her. One of Hadley’s greatest passions was her love of horses. She would often pretend to be a horse. We can just see her riding a beautiful horse in Heaven!

Hadley is survived by her parents Schyler Burns and Lindsay Williams; her siblings Brylie (11), Evan (5) and Elliott (3) Burns; Schyler’s girlfriend Lauren Dean and her children, Madi and Mylee; paternal grandparents, Mimi Janene and Bumpa Kevin Burns; maternal grandparents Bill and Ann Williams and Bill and Kathy Younger; paternal great grandparents Grandpa Loren and Granny Norina Wehrenberg and Ray and Eloise Burns; aunt Lauren and uncle Trevor Kimmel and cousins Reese, Rhett and Owen; and numerous uncles, aunts, and cousins.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, February 26, 2020 with a 10 AM Viewing and 11 AM Service at Milestone Church, 201 Mount Gilead Road, Keller TX, 76248.
