Harold Warren Kindiger went to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, February 25, 2022.
A born and raised true Texan, Harold was welcomed into this world by his parents Ethel Marie Wood Kindiger and Samuel Raymond Kindiger. As a young man Harold sold newspaper subscriptions for the Star Telegram. He worked so hard and sold so many that he won a trip to Ireland. Harold graduated from Riverside High School in Fort Worth and later Texas Wesleyan University. He started his career in the grocery business and spent eighteen years in that line of work. Harold changed paths and went to work manufacturing hot water heaters at Pressure Vessel for the remaining 15 years he spent in the workforce. Harold retired at age 65 and traveled short trips to see his family. He loved western movies and Gene Autry, he amassed quite the collection of VHS and DVD westerns. Harold was actively involved with Riverside Baptist Church including the churche’s merger into Oak Knoll. He taught Sunday school and drove the bus for the youth groups. Harold was a big supporter of Baylor College and was an Alumni by choice.
He is survived by brothers, Theron and wife Lavinia Kindiger, Lloyd and wife Marjorie Kindiger; nieces, Julie Lamb and husband Vernon, Tara Kizer and husband Kenneth, Mindy Busby and husband Mark; nephews, Steve Kindiger, David Kindiger and wife Angela, Larry Kindiger and wife Beverly; 23 great nieces and nephews, extended family and many dear friends.
