Harold Edward Nutt Jr., a cherished husband, father, and grandfather, departed from this world on April 14, 2024, at the age of 73. His life, marked by love, compassion, and dedication, has left an indelible imprint on the hearts of all who knew him.
Harold was the beloved son of Harold Edward Nutt Sr. and Helen Blackman. He was preceded in death by his father, Harold Edward Nutt Sr., but is survived by his loving mother, Hellen Blackman Gibson, who will forever cherish his memory.
Harold's life was adorned with love, as he shared it with his devoted wife, Deena Jean Nutt, whose unwavering support and companionship brought joy to his days. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories.
As a father, Harold's legacy lives on through his son, Matthew Clayton Phelps, and his daughter-in-law, Sherry Zerwas Phelps. The bond they shared was one of profound love and mutual respect, a testament to Harold's nurturing spirit and guidance. His grandchildren, Isabella Denise Phelps and Matthew Clayton Phelps II, were the lights of his life, bringing him endless joy and filling his days with laughter and love.
Harold was also a beloved sibling to Thomas Sheldon Walker, Cheryl Walker Souther, James Elwood Walker, and Jodie Jean Blanchard, and his memory will forever be cherished by his numerous nieces and nephews.
Though Harold may have left this earthly realm, his spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those who loved him. May his soul find eternal peace, and may his memory continue to be a blessing to us all.
A memorial service to celebrate Harold’s life will be held at 3pm on April 20th, 2024, At Lucas Funeral Home 1321 Precinct Line, Hurst Texas. Reception to follow.
